poverlink r5 and solar pannels

I would like to install some solar pannels on top of my rimor horus 45 van. The electricity is managed by an epvl pover link r5. I have a ENC-240-12 power charger and two batteries. The service battery is a 80Ah gel (exide ES900).



The electrical installation is exactly the same as :

What should I buy in order to connect for example one 200W solar panel to my existing installation?

Your system havenìt a solar section. You can install our regulator to see the power on control panel but max power is 150watt. If you have a bigger solar panel you need to install it with other regulator direct to battery.

another question is can I swap my lead gel service battery (80Ah) by a lifepo4 battery (150Ah). My starter battery is a lead battery.



I understand I will have to set the bc-520 battery charger to programmable ?

Hello. Please check if you find my email on your spam directory.

You can set BC-520 at "programmable" but you need to install a DcDc converter from motor to service battery.
