Arsicilli Al120NB battery capacity

Good afternoon, I own a 2008 Ford Rimor Katamarano 8 motorhome, I currently have the AL120NB control unit installed, a 100W solar panel and a 100Ah AGM battery.

I want to put a new battery with a higher capacity and I wanted to know if I can put a battery with a higher capacity, from 200Ah to 300Ah.

Is there a problem? Would the control unit support a battery of that capacity?

Hello. The power to charge the battery is almost the same. Ou can install about 50A from battery to the system.

Charging a larger battery only takes more time.

I am responding to this topic because I have a 2003 Ford Rimor and I have installed arsilicii al110s and have installed 2 GEL batteries NBA 3GL6E 6v 260Ah in series that make 12v output on arsilicii. batteries are being charged with a Victron SmartSolar 100/30 solar controller and 400w panel that charges.

what I want to ask is if when connecting 220v in park mode, the arsilicii charges correctly the batteries? because they are GEL type

The charger have 10A output. This current is low to charge correctly your two battery. I suggest you to install a bigger charger (we have the 20A model full compatible with your system). To charge GEL battery you need to increase output voltage. You can increase it by a little trimmer inside charger. If you turn clockwise it you can increase output voltage. I suggest you to set it about 14,2V.
